Seedling Developmental

What we do:

 Developmental Diagnosis:

• Detailed developmental, medical and family  history
• Neurodevelopmental evaluation
• ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale) when applicable 

 Medical Diagnosis:

• General Physical
• Neurological Examination
• Recommendations for further testing. (Brain imaging, blood work, testing by other specialists)
• Orders for laboratory analysis, and review of the results

 Review of Intervention Plan:  

• Review of previous testing and IFSP/IEP
• Suggestions for modifications to program
• Recommendations for behavioral intervention
• Referrals to community resources for the family 

What we do NOT do:
 

• We do not provide general medical care. All children need to have their own primary care physician.
• Emergency Medical Care.  The child's primary care physician is responsible for this.
  
• Intervention Services (OT, PT, ST, Education) We would be happy to discuss with the family programs that do provide these services.
  
• Ongoing care for medications for behavioral or medical problems. Suggestions will be made for the child's primary physician to consider.
  

We will help the family gather information from other health care providers, therapeutic agencies or educational facilities. Once this information is received and the evaluation completed, we review all the information with the family.  The diagnosis is discussed in detail, a plan developed for further testing and restorative recommendations are made.
